    This flew into a friends house today, is it a sedge warbler?

    It is a Grasshopper Warbler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Grasshopper_Warbler), a widespread but secretive summer visitor to Ireland. This particular bird looks like a juvenile (not yellow wash to underparts).
