A friend of mine did his undergraduate course there (it wasn't engineering though) and enjoyed it. He preferred living in the town though instead of around the campus!

Many mates of mine have done MSc in engineering in Heriot Watt. All have very well paying jobs (in France, they're French), most had multiple offers. They studied electrical/mechanical. What one are you interested in?

An Engineer friend of mine did a MBA there by distance learning. He's now a global Engineering Manager for a power company, so I think it's worked for him as it's supposed to.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I did my engineering degree in Heriot Watt 13 years ago. It was a great university - well funded, good facilities and well published research active lecturers. As far as I know it is well respected in the UK and came high on the times uni league tables for engineering
