Strict enforcement of the charter will take place during the rest of Championship,

    Why?

There are times when, for various reasons, the forum attracts new posters and some occasional contributors who come along to have a moan, stir up arguments and basically disrupt the quality discussions to which the majority contribute. When this happens, the mods are generally on alert and will deal with perceived nuisances as they arise, however regulars can get caught up in this.

In light of this, the mods have agreed that in order to be consistent we must apply the charter rigidly and enforce warnings/infractions/bans where posts are contrary to the charter. If you're not sure of what is/isn't allowed then have a read of the charter. If you're still not sure, ask yourself if the post you're about to submit adds to the discussion.

Basically, there will be no on-thread warning telling you to play nice or get back on topic. Instead you'll be issued yellows/reds as applicable. So just because you have been able to say something similar before without warning, doesn't mean you will be able to say it now, so think before you post

Also as GAA fans we want to enjoy the games ourselves. This may mean that we mightn't get a chance to react immediately to reported posts but ALL reported posts will be looked at. This also means we may ban users or warn people off thread. So although there may not be any post marking what action has been taken on thread that doesn't mean that we haven't banned or warned users.

As ever, the over-arching boards principle of "Don't be a dick" applies.

    Link to charter.
