    Hi Folks ,

What do you think is going on here, have never given my number to anyone else to play with

The round on the below screenshot has me baffled , just got home from Poland and had spent the day in the nest and most certainly did not play any golf that day ,

I emailed the H/C secretary in Blessington Lakes to ask him whats going on but got no reply ,

Its hard enough getting the HC down without getting plus 0.1's for a round Ive never even played !

The round in question is 12/06

Someone may have accidentally signed in under your name in your home club.

You can request (insist) that the round be deleted from your record. Easy thing to do.

This can happen if there are two or more people with the same name on the system, or someone could have keyed in the wrong number (either in error or, more unlikely, deliberately). In any case, the person responsible for dealing with this is your handicap secretary.

So, keep following up with your handicap secretary - in person or by phone.

He may not have opened the email, particularly if it is a club email address that isn't used frequently.

If you still have problems, contact club captain or vice captain or some other committee member, who will get through to your handicap secretary to investigate and fix the problem.

Either your Competition Secretary or Handicap Secretary can re open this closed competition and delete your scorecard. Then when they close the competition again it will not appear in your records as if it never existed. It is simple to do and takes less than 1 minute.

PM sent with my phone number Pete. We do in fact have 2 Peter Walsh's so that is where the problem arose. It can be sorted out in less than a minute so I look forward to your call
