    Hi,

I am starting a computer science course at an irish university next september and am looking to spend about 500 euro on a laptop that would be suitable for the course.

Is this enough to be spending?

And What features would such a laptop need?

    Thanks

Yea €500 is plenty to find a decent laptop, make sure the screen is at least 15.6 inches, anything less would be a pain when programming. Make sure it has a decent keyboard too.

Not really , there'll all do the same , i suggest go to PC world and try typing on the different keyboards to find which one you think is more conformable.

Try get an i5 processor if you can with at least 4GB of RAM , HDD space isn't that important but anything over 500GB is more than enough

Here's a good laptop with a comfortable keyboard for just under €500:
