Hey, I was talking to my sister today about her getting a full time job for a year to save up for moving out expenses, and I was wondering, if she works full time and makes a lot of money (say, 14k) saves it all up to cover rent and food while in college, will it be taken into consideration while applying for the grant, seein she is a dependent student? Or will they solely base her application on my dad's income?

I think only your earnings are taken into account, not your savings.

I don't think I worded my question right, lol. What I was asking was, if my sister is a dependant student, will her earnings be taken into account when applying for a grant, combined with my father's earnings?
