We are flying tomorrow and have a stopover in Stanstaed - I am bringing a collapsible buggy for my 3 year old. I have not paid for it as extra baggage and am hoping to get away with it(otherwise will have to abandon it) So we (5) have checked in online etc and have 1 priority boarder so do I get a "sticker" for it at the departure gate or beforehand or what's the procedure anyone know?

They allow children's buggies with no extra charge. They will give you a luggage sticker when you check in, leave it at steps of aircraft collect over. Traveled many times with kids no problem at all with the buggies. Enjoy :-)

Age limit is two though whether they check the childs age or not i'm not sure I would doubt it but you never know.

Thanks for the replies. Clappyhappy - we have no checked in baggage so where would I get the sticker? I presumed we just go through security and down to the relevant gate. Am I wrong? Youngest wull be in the buggy drinking a bottle so might get away with it

Not exactly sure as we always had to check things in (3 kids), I would assume if you went to the check in desks and asked for a luggage tag for it they would give it to you. Fingers crossed :)
