Hello, I'm looking for some advice please?

I've been looking at a few rings and I've came across what I think is a good deal its a round .80ct H SI1 which in a platinum setting for £2394.00. Its from 365 Diamonds in the UK, can anyone confirm that this is a good deal or has anyone any dealings with these guys please?

    Thanks,
    Foghlu77

Who is certifying the diamond? What are the cut, polish and symmetry grades of the stone and what is the fluorescence? All these make a big difference to prices. Also, as it is an SI1, are there visible inclusions to the naked eye.

Ask for copy of cert and I can advise you.

PM me if you need some further advice.

They are "independently certificated by IGI or GIA who are the two most stringent laboratories with their grading thus making these diamonds more expensive"

*Your diamond will have a minimum cut/polish/symmetry grade of 'good' or above

The above is taken from their website, does this make sense?

    Thanks!

It makes perfect sense, Good in my opinion is not good! If you want your diamond to have maximum fire, brilliance and scintillation, you should go for minimum Very Good on all three grades.

Ask also about the eye clean factor and fluorescence.

    Thanks African Mango.

I have asked for all this info.

Would you have any advice on where else I could source such a ring within my budget please?

Did you get my reply to the PM you sent me?

I now also have the cert.

Can you let me know if you can source a similar ring for less please?
