Does anyone know if you can get a signal by wedging a coat hanger in the back of a digital TV? if not is there a way of converting digital back into analogue so that a signal can be acheived using said coat hanger?

Will you be happy with analogue when the signal is switched off?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a party when they switch of the analogue signal? Will a big fuss be made. What is the process when switching off the analogue signal in Ireland? Will there be a countdown like new year because i think there should. please let me know what you think

Saorview receivers can convert digital to analog and send that to your TV over a SCART connector.

If you want a price of equipment to privately broadcast an analogue signal that you can then receive with a coathanger aerial then you will need a broadcast license.

Not to say you aren't entirely taking the piss ...;)
