    Just my rotten luck.

5 Weeks before I head off on a bike tour of the Himalayas and I damage my Garmin. I was closing the boot door I hit it off the face of my Garmin without realizing it was there. I'm a real idiot. No way of recording the routes now as there is a big black spot on it.

Anyone know where I could get it repaired at VERY short notice. I could send it to Garmin but don't thing it would be back in time.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Pat

From my experience you should expect a turnaround of 2-3 weeks from Garmin. Otherwise check ebay if you can buy a screen for it and change it yourself.
