Freelander VCU

Just have a freelander with 65k on the clock and just wondering what should i expect to pay to get a VCU and bearings changed. Just wondering is it a big job to try for myself.

Easy enough job, it's in the middle of the rear propshaft. If there's no sign of funny tyre wear, steering jerking or clonking from the shaft (the carrier bearing rubber mounts can wear) I'd just keep an eye on it. Makes a change for an owner here to be looking for the problem rather than letting it wreck the IRD
