I'm going into second year Finance and I'm going the major/minor route with geography as a minor. I need 15 credits in physical geography and 15 credits in human geography.

I'm not big into physical geography so if I was to do 3 x 5 credit physical modules and 1 human in 2nd year and I just pass them will I still get 15 credits for physical? Or would I have to get 100% to get all 15?

    Do 1st year modules count?

Once you pass the module you get the entire credits. I assume you're trying to work out the modules to take so you can do teaching? It might be a good idea to get in touch with the geography dept secretary and they'll be able to help with which modules you should pick. I'm not sure if the first year modules count towards it, sorry.

I failed on of my exams this year :( I got 36% I don't have to repeat because I passed by compensation. Will I still get the credits for the module that I passed by compensation?

Yup. You need to get all the credits to pass the year. If you've passed by compensation, you've passed, full credits, no issues.
