Is it a .17 rem or .17hmr, if its a rem then i'd sell the .223 if its the hmr and your not stuck for money i'd keep it as its a handy foxing rifle if your into that, if your not into shooting foxes or have another deer rifle that you could use i'd sell it,

All depends what you want to shoot at what ranges and what else you have in the cabinet

its hmr i like shooting the odd fox out to 300+ but its not the range of the 223 its the knocking power i like.i wouldnt risk long shots cause im not confident enough in my ability. i miss shooting bunnies and being able to bring them home in one piece hence the purchase :Dis it easy to sell 223s:confused: its a tikka 223 lite stainless with tikka opti lock bases and mounts ,harris swivel bipod and northstar stainless silencer.any ideas of rough value

Have you over 6 unrestricted guns that me made you get a house alarm?
Your other guns and what you want to shoot will be the decider on what you should do.

I have the HMR and bring it lamping the whole time but one of the lads has a .243 so its the main one used on foxes and the hmr on bunnies or a fox that pops up close.

I never head out during the day after foxes but if I came across one bunny shooting I know the hmr is well capable of knocking foxes out to 150 yards cleanly.

My own opinion is I wouldn't have both.. if I kept the .223 I would get a .22 but if i had to have one its the HMR for the shooting I do.

It's 4 unrestricted for a standard alarm and 6+ unrestricted for a monitored alarm:)
