    Hi Boardies,Looking for your help!!!

Presently I have a Sky dish with a sky+ feed to sitting room and an ordinary sky box for multi room.As Skys customer servives and price no longer suit.I am getting rid of Sky in the bedroom....my question can I use the connections in the bedroom and plug them into a box that would get me free to air and saorview channels, bearing in mind that the sky+ box downstairs is still connected to the dish as well.(I' considering getting rid of this tool!). So is it possible to have one dish(sky dish) with connection to a sky service and a 'free' service.

    Thanks!!:D

    Yes.

Sky and Freesat/FTA uses exactly the same satellites, so your current dish/LNBf setup will work fine for both.

No problem with the Satellite free to air channels, but if you do not have an aerial at present to receive the Saorview channels you will need to get one and cable it into the TV.
