I need to know if others opened my email

    My friend told me yesterday, he lost contact with his friend in Australia and worried something had happens to him. He lost contact with him since 15th of June, He emailed him 4 times and phones him 4 times but no reply, His phones is off all the time. I told him that there is some infor that tells you if Email was opened or not by the reciever... Is that true, if yes, How ? I want to ease my friend worries.. Thanks in Advance.

    Email Receipts, not all providers support this function I don't think. Does he have Facebook, any sign of page activity?

    Dont think he have any facebook or the other too... Thanks for info, He is worried, not like him ,not to reply. Thanks again.

    All my friend wants to know if he had opened his email, if not, something bad had happened.

    Type his email address(es) into facebook search bar, will return profiles usually if the people registered. Twitter, Youtube etc... All these services can hint of signs of activity (Youtube will actually give you the persons last login date with default configuration). Hopefully he gets something anyways :)
