    Need some advise here....

Have my main iTunes account on my Pc but recently purchased a Mac Pro.
want to be able to sync on my laptop but dont want the hassle of loading all the tunes and apps on the laptop.
Im thinking of using the time capsule I also purchased to store the content and make the destination folder in itunes the one on the time capsule .... is this possible ???

    good idea ?

    thanks

Use iTunes Match. €25 per year. Get all your iTunes music on all your machines and devices. Have one machine with all your library then just download as you need on other devices including iPhone.

If your PC is on all the time then Home Sharing makes sense but if that's your main iTunes library then yes, you would need to keep syncing your iPhone with it to get songs and whatnot.

It's also possible with Home Sharing to copy files from one library to another if you're so inclined.

Don't put your iTunes library on a shared folder. iTunes just isn't gears up to work as a shared library on a network drive and it'll only end in tears.

Did it finish yet? Meant to say there is a limit of 25000 tracks. Also it only uploads content that it can not match on the iTunes store!
