So I'm a young mature student who is starting in W.I.T this year studying psychology and ideally I would of loved a one bed apartment to rent this year in Waterford, as iv had disasters sharing with people before, they were really messy or always partying. But I'm finding out that1 bed apts are 2 dear for me. So the next best option is to look for a 2 bed that i can share with someone, who likes to keep apt clean and tidy and is focused on course work but goes out the odd night.

I was sort of same boat so i just drive up and down. May not be an option but worth considering.

Thanks for the suggestion :) but i don't think driving up and down everyday is really an option for me.

Just glanced at this in passing, thought id say dont be worrying about it, im a current student and haven't heard anything from the collage yet either, it will be another week or so before anything im guessing. When i was starting college i came down a day or two early and had a walk around the campus and stuff just to familerise myself with the place, might be an idea for ya.

Also i have applied for the grant and not heard anything, from what ive heard no body has heard anything, im sure that will all be sorted out in good time though. Ye should be excited not worrying:)

The college is effectively closed at the moment. It will be another week or two before there is any move on this, maybe a bit later. Repeat Exams start next week and that's when the college tends to wake back up into life. The offices are all closed atm.

I suspect the grant will also be very slow moving and its a while before you get paid from what I can see.
