Hey, I was driving today literally whole day, saw what's going on in blancharstown (quiet), phoenix park (mad), city centre/navan road and other parts (mad). I am learner like, and this just seems extreeme for me, I know you guys probably are used to these but well,

Is there any routes you take where there is less people? I mean it's mad I just got home and in city centre: People covered in mud/**** just stand in middle of street where cars are driving, waiting for taxis, taxis ignore them because they all are covered in mud/****. So any roads?

tbh I think these **** concerts/events should be somehow organised better by garda or something, so far it's retarded the way they just let thousands out drunk, it's like releasing mad bulls into streets.

Also today on exit from navan road (N3), where you reduce from 80 km/h to like 40-60 km/h. These people were just standing there like it;'s some kind of pavement, I know I sound like freak now but I am a bit surprised how that works so bad. When I was pedestrian I didn't mind, now I do mind.

    Also:

Today garda set up a check post and they were stopping taxis in particular, why? Any ideas? Near phoenix park.

If your coming from Blanch and want to avoid the Navan Road then the Cappagh Rd down through Finglas and Cabra is the next best route but tbh it's not worth the hassle unless you need to stop of in Finglas and that.

The Navan Road is nowhere near as bad (from Clonee to DG Opel anyway) as it used to be years ago since the work that was done on it and the elimination of roundabouts.

RE: Concerts, what can you do in fairness ? There was 45,000 people at Swedish House Mafia last night and I'd imagine the same for tonights one as well. All roads around the Park are expected to be crazy, especially the N3 and down by the court.

Well yes, I felt like in one of those zombie apoc films, just random individuals hanging around, drunk, swinging from side to side, covered in mud, walking in middle of road.
