Well water pressure problem

    Hi,

    Im finding that the small pressure tank in my shed thats drawing water from a well isnt keeping the pressure ...as in when say a toilet is flushes the pressure gauge flicks wildly from 1 bar to 4 bar (as example) ...Any ideas

    Probally no pressure in the expansion vessel, or else the diaphram is perished.

    As Kscobie has said, The Diaphragm in the Vessel is probably burst which they tend to do if left with little or no air in them for a period of time.
    They need to be checked about every 6 Months with a Tyre Gauge.
    You can try pumping it to about 28 lbs pressure and see if it works ok. If not you will need to replace the Vessel.

    thanks guys I tried re inflating it but it only lasted about a day or two

    If you have a doubt about carrying out the task yourself, then best to get a Plumber.
