Hi - just writing this for my boyfriend.

He has applied through the CAO - as a mature student ; his first choice was furniture design and manufacture in GMIT letterfrack and second choice DT169 - timber product technology.

He received his offer from DIT and is unsure of whether the course would suit him as well as the one in letterfrack as he is more interested in the furniture design side of things.

Any information regarding the course in DIT - hours in college, how the hours are broken between theory classes and hands on workshop time, your own personal experiences of the course / employment availability after graduating - anything would be a help.

    Thanks!
