Hey, so i've just gotten a place in the course for Sept. Does anyone know anything about?

I'm guessing we'll be grouped with other Sci courses for he most part but can anyone give me ideas on class/tutioral sizes? I'm guessing it's going to be something like a 30hour week too.

One more thing, I was looking at the course info and it seems like it's mainly about lab work so would this course be leading me into a career as a technician in a lab or is there some add-on/post grad that would be more focused on R&D?

Also on a totally different note does AIT have any outdoor societies like kayaking or mountain climbing?

    Thanks :D

    Hello,

Im not in this course but I am a chemistry postgraduate at AIT and I do give tuition to some of its members - the lecturers over this course are excellent (and extremely experienced), and maintain an active interest in research as well as course material. So in terms of job prospects and research opportunities, there should be plenty to choose from.

Class sizes have been small in the past, under 20 anyway...for first year, you may be lumped in with other science classes for chemistry lectures. Hope you enjoy it!
