import tax on camcorder

Im looking to upgrade to a hd camcorder and ive found a sony one i really like. To buy in ireland im looking at €779, on ebay a company from hong kong, whom ive bought with before and saved a fortune are selling it at €300 cheaper. my question is how can i work out what import tax.duty i will be liable for?

The Revenue website has all the information you should need.

From looking at the Taric, it's probably this code:

So thats 4.9% for Duty and then the irish VAT, which is 23% on top of that.
