    Dont think so.

    Here's the spec sheet for your Mobo. It doesnt list that processor as being compatible.

    It doesn't list the CPU in there atm either :p

    Could you suggest something that would be compatible with my set up so?

    the more powerful the better

    Afraid I cant. I know squat about AMD systems. I'm sure someone who knows more will be along shortly to help you. ;)

    The 965 will work with that board. However, your board can only supply 95W of power to the processor, so if you were to use the 965 its' performance would be throttled.

    A better choice would be this 945;

    The DA061L-3D is listed as socket AM3, and the chip you linked to was also AM3, so I see no reason why it shouldn't.

    But the one you linked to was only dual-core. Not go quad core? But not really how powerful the PSU would need to be for the quad-core or octocore AM3 CPUs?

    The post by Supermensch answers this.

    thanks ill look at the 945 so, while im at it could anybody recommend a good video card to throw in there, it would have to be a low profile card as there's very little space in the case, the card that's in there atm only just barely fits it
