    Hi,

Just looking for advice here. Had a minor collision in car park yesterday. The front bumper has couple cracks, few scuffs and is sticking out a bit at the side! You reckon I'd need to replace the whole front bumper or could I get this repaired? I've attached a few pics. How much we talking for new bumper or repair if possible??? Doubt there would be many of these bumpers 2nd hand knocking about?!

    thanks!

If it was me and my car i'd say new bumper - was it your own fault or can you claim? Really gutted for you, love these cars. There is one in my work car park also same colour but it doesn't look like same car park from pics!

didn't happen in work car park. We were actually both at fault so called it quits. Long story! So just weighing up the options whether to claim (pay excess of 300, premium going up) or try and get sorted outside of insurance! Cost will depend obviously if have to replace or try and get fixed up!

New bumper and paint will be expensive but it's an OPC so i wouldn't go the charlie cheapo route, plus i'd find a good reputable painter.I wouldn't let a cowboy paint it.

Get a few quotes before you decide,at least you'll have a better idea of the cots involved. Also bare in mind a lot of bodyshops will quote one price for the insurance route and a lower 'cash' price to you.

be surprised if that is fixed for anything less than 400-500euro.
