Ideas for a replacement wheel set for Specialized Tricross Sport Disc

I'm looking to replace the existing stock Alex S480 32h rims for a lighter set with narrower tyres for road use. Can anyone recommend a decent set, I can't find any good discussions online? Bike specs are here: http://www.specialized.com/ie/gb/bikes/road/tricross/tricrosssportdisc#specs Cheers.
