    Hi,
I'm currently looking to purchase my first road bike. Would the BIanchi XL EV2 be a good starter. It is priced 530 euro with full campagnola record groupset. I'm new to this but It seems to be highly rated online and I think Marco Pantani rode a similar one. IS the price reasonable for a ten year old bike?
    it's this model

Is that 10 speed record or older still? Either way it looks like a hell of a bike for 530e, looks beautiful and campag stuff lasts a lifetime.

I have a short sleeve cycling jersey that matches the colours. :) Nick bike, worth a look imo, bring the €530 with you.
What size is it? I ride a 54cm.

Yeah it's a ten speed record. I have been looking at other entry level bikes new but for this is a top bike from ten years ago and I think it might be better value. Hopefully the frame isn't cracked or something though.

you could easily pay close to 530e for a 10 speed record groupset on its own.

Its a 56cm frame. I just have to convince my girlfriend to give me a lend of the money haha. I really want it soo much. When i seen a picture of this

(Apparently from what i read the bike i'm looking at is a replica of this)

I just want it so bad now. It's gotta be a better bike than a 500 euro carrera tdf or something like this.

Tomorro I find out if i can secure the funding for it haha. Fingers crossed. Ohh and as this is my first bike buy what should i look for as walk away signs?
