    Have you seen this car????

A 2001 VW Golf (01 DL 2544), 1.4 petrol, 3dr hatchback, royal blue in colour was stolen from the Castletown area of Co. Meath between 5am and 9am on Friday 6th July.. It has standard VW alloys and has clear "lexus" lights on the rear. If anyone has seen it or noticed anyone looking suspicious in the area around that time could they please get in touch.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Sorry to hear about your car being stolen. On the bright side, you can now go buy somthing else with the insurance money. Anything. Else.

I would agree with that it was taking for some robbery. I would say it's either in storage or sitting somewhere on new plates at this stage.

could be for the engine and other parts, those 1.4 are bastards on drinking oil.

A robber would need performance for a bank robbery methinks. ;)

I know who you are, that car passes my house on a daily basis and into my neighbour

Sorry to hear, I'll be keeping an eye out either way, a distinctive enough car

    Thanks everyone for your replies.

It was my cousin's car that was stolen. I can't believe it myself but the car was found by it's owner this morning in the hospital car park. No key but no damage done whatsoever which is great. Gardai have taken it away for prints and it should be back with it's rightful owner tomorrow.

    Thanks again

    Regards,

    Yip

As far as I know they were taken from the house but can't be certain.
