Dublin yearly bike price fluctuations

I'm new to the city (and the country for that matter) and I already feel lonely without my bike. I am thinking about buying a decent used road bike (a 2011 Giant defy 3 or something of the sort) and selling it after my summer internship (end of September / beginning of October).

So my question is: Do you guys know how much the prices drop at the end of the summer compared to the beginning? Or, more precisely: if a buy a road bike in a good condition now for about 550 Euro (like the defy 3 above), how much money can I expect for it at the end of the season? Assuming of course I don't crash it and look after it in the meantime ;)

Your help would be much appreciated.
