A couple late 30's, going to Donegal for 3 nights, Sunday to Wed for a special occasion. Have checked out both these hotels and wondering if anyone has been to both that would recommend one over the other and why. Looking to just totally chill out and spend time together. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have never stayed in either hotel but have eaten in both of them. They are both stunning in the most beautiful location but to me Lough Eske might just have the edge as the building is just beautiful and just a pleasure to walk around and sit and have a drink or Coffee in their lovely reception rooms. the staff are also extremely friendly and helpful really 5 star service from waiters to bar staff and the receptionists.

The food was gorgeous in both too! Whichever you go for you will love as they are both stunning hotels and I am sure you will have a fabulous time Enjoy!!
