    Hi all

I've had a Pro-Cut Petrol Strimmer that I got from Woodies for awhile and I've never used the thing because i heard you need to put some type if mixture into the petrol. On the fuel lid there is a petrol pump sign and a drop sign. Any help would be great.

Two-stroke oil. add it to the petrol at a ratio of about 20:1, petrol to oil.
Usually mix it in a gallon can

OP go into a good dealer and buy 2 or 3 of the small one shot mix bottles.
Each 100ml bottle will mix into 5 litres to give you the proper mix.
Personally I prefer 40:1 which is 120ml for 5 litres but 100ml into 5litres won't hurt your strimmer.
Buy semi-synthetic if possible its much better.

Excessive carbon caused by high oil ratios will cause more problems in the long run, fouling of plugs and exhaust blockages are common with high oil mix ratios.
