I currently have a one way flight to america but recently got a new job. I will be going on a return flight in the new year sometime and so would be looking to use some of the money i have already paid for this flight.
Is it possible to get credit if i was to cancel the one way flight and get credit for the return flight?

Depends what type of ticket you purchased. If is is a non-refundable flight, then you won't be able to get anything back other than the taxes & fees.

Its the cheapest one you could get online so i reckon its probably non refundable
