    Hiya,

I'm just starting new job on Monday and it's much closer to the place I live in, but will be a bit hectic with the morning traffic so I decided to dump the car and start cycling.

So I had yesterday and today to look for something that would suit me. Done some research and decided to go with singlespeed as it's fairly low maintenance bike.

I am 6'4" tall and I wanted to get something around 500-700e bracket. I've looked at Specialized Langster and few other brands but to my dissapointment none of the shops stock any bikes in my size.

So one wonders what's the point of those non-internet shops that will have a bit / much higher price to accommodate operational costs and make room for some margin when you can't go and just buy it there. It's all on order and so on.

I guess time to google some online etailers... and be patient, since I'll have to wait one way or the other.

Surely the shops can order your size for you? I'm guessing that it doesn't make financial sense to keep enough of every possible size and colour in stock on the off chance that you want to buy immediately off the street.
