10cc / 1 litre water works for me

is a cc the same as a mm ( mililitre ) , if it is then that is a ratio of 1 to 100 ?

    Correct.
Just relooked at tractor sprayer rate (2.5L/ac)and it is around 1:30, and knapsack puts out less volume, so is 1:100 way too little?
Still it depends what killing, higher rates for scutch grass + docks.
By the way I am not a spray expert..

    according to a site i checked out , the ratio is 40 : 1

    100:1 seemed very little

I usually go 20-30mls/litre depening what I am spraying for if I am spraying the drive/patio I even put it in stronger especially the firest time in the spring. you do not want to be walking at 1/2 mile an hour.

Simazine is off the market 3-4 years you must have it a long time can I have some for the drive.

    30mls/litre.

    +1
    As recommended by Monsanto http://www.roundup-garden.com/how-much-roundup-do-i-need.aspx

I put in 500ml (small coke bottle) into the 50 litre sprayer, which is 100 to 1 ratio also.

the thing about roundup is that it only kills whats there. it doesnt stop regrowth within a few weeks.
can you add another chemical in with the roundup and do two jobs at once?!

I thought simaziene was gone nearly ten years now.

    has anyone used premazor yet?

it's a simaziene style additive that dairygold are selling.
