Just wondering how long it takes your driving license to arrive after passing your theory test?

Can take 2-10 working days by post. Its easier to get it there and then at the MTO if you have time, only takes 5 minutes to get it done! Best to go at a time when its quiet and no queues.

My licence came in 3 days from Portlaoise ( I posted the application, rather than handing it in). However, I'd follow doodvela's advice as I've heard some councils are awfully bad for sending them out. Wicklow has a particularly bad name. Kildare Co. Co isn't too fast either I believe. My friend was waiting 3 or 4 weeks for his, although that was 2 years ago.
