    Excuse my ignorance firstly, but i really do not have a clue when it comes to any gadgets,,,I got a saorview combo Triax St-HD 537. anyway tonight was watching some tv and the reception kept breaking up, but took no notice, went out for my walk came back turned on tv and all i get now is a blank screen which shows signal 0..No RTE 1 2 or any home channels at all..just wondering if it might be the dish or the soarview box that is causing problems..

    Was it part of a full install that you paid someone to do.

    Ok.

    If all your channels are gone then it might be the Triax St-HD 537 at fault. This box is fed from an aerial for your Irish channels and a satellite dish for your English channels. Now if there was a problem with the dish you would lose the English channels and still have the Irish channels and If there was a Problem with your aerial it would be visa versa.

    If it is nothing that a human error has caused to stop this from working tonight and
    If you have this less than a year then you need to contact this guy to come and sort it out under warranty.

    Thanks Scaller...I have a trv in another room,( I have not brought a saorview box yet for that) and it is working okay got all my home channels so fingers crossed it is the box..
