Bring it back without the receipt. Their customer service is very good. Not familiar with the saw but you could check the brushes if it has some. According to the link it comes with 3 year warranty .

I've bought a number of items from them, on a few occasions I brought some items back, they would only accept with a receipt and in another case a receipt and the card used to pay for it.

I suspect they might get a bit of people bringing back nearly new items that were purchased off someone else and they try get out of the warranty this way by suggesting its not transferrable.
On the same hand, the items are clearly lidl and they should stand over their warranty readily, but dont seem to.
I can think of about 4 items I returned, some which were not functional from new and some which wore out rapidly but that I still had a receipt for or which turned up after long searches for older items
You can take a chance but I found them very unhelpful if you dont have a receipt even though the items are clearly lidl brands (parkside or others), which they wont honour either if you didnt buy it in that specific branch, to a small extent I can understand this for the inconvenience to that branch, but I suspect they turn away a lot of warranty generally unless you are persistent.

Bit annoying, but always keep and scan your receipts if you expect any service from warranties from lidl, most of mine have the ink has evaporated, having said that I dont practice this myself (I keep meaning to and I think they rely on this, really how many keep or scan receipts?)

I have found battery powered tools like this to be poor from lidl in the past, maybe they have improved? Id prefer to rely on a wired version for anything that requires power consistently and longevity, Ive a battery hand drill, next to useless now, doesnt charge well even though I kept it topped up from time to time even when not using it.

Yeah the fact it's wireless is what's putting me off. They should take it back though, if say a year down the line it's not charging as it should?

Might take a punt and just keep the receipt somewhere safe.

If I ever lose the receipt for stuff, I just buy an identical one, switch it out with broken one and bring it back with new receipt. You then have a new one and a receipt. You can then return the new one the next day with the same receipt for full money back or just use the new item.

The old one would have to be in a certain condition for that to work, or you'd have to keep the newer one and receipt to account for any wear, I also used to wonder why places made marginal changes to products, ie the shape or mouldings, I suspect it something to do with this to identify older items without having to confirm any information, so straight away if an item that had a certain look wasn't the most regent style or look the item was sold in, its easily identified as an older piece of kit to prevent this new purchase and using the receipt.
What pisses me off is they don't make the fit of the newer batteries interchangeable and the same so that newer batteries will fit older items.

What you're suggesting is probably outside of the spirit and law of it,having said that its not a bad idea if you buy something and it goes just outside a warranty to do that, plus having gotten messed around with a retailer being very particular and only for my persistence about replacing the item even though still in warranty, where they made me feel i was pushing things, it was still returned inside the long warranty, i have to say id do the same as I suspect they get very little warranty return attempts, then they whittle that down by refusals with the missing or evaporated receipt, and even then they will try fob you off, so I have to say, go for it.

There's usually no need to go to this extreme. Neither Lidl or Aldi seem to have any problem with their returns policy. I brought a 2 year old tool with no receipt back to the shop, the manager checked the manufacture date on the sticker, and printed out a matching receipt for me.

I sent a picture of both the till and the receipt to the relevant email address and had a replacement in the post in a week

Why did you send a picture of the till?
