Irish theatres accepting new plays?

I see from different websites that some Irish theatre companies are looking for new plays. However, they don't say why! Is it to fulfil some agenda, to give the writer feedback on their work, or to actually put on a production? Would anyone know here which Irish theatres are regularly looking for new plays to perform?
