Samsung Galaxy S3 - America?

    I'm heading over to the states in a couple of weeks & want to buy a sim free Samsung Galaxy S3. Any advice?

    My advice is dont. Youre looking at at least $650 before sales tax which depends on where you go. Youre looking at the same price if not more expensive

    Galaxy 2 seems to be between $450-500 before tax but finding a shop selling them could be difficult since theres all different versions on different carriers with different names.
    Americans are pretty much all on contracts so theres not much demand there for sim-free phones + the euro is pretty weak against the dollar at the moment. Wouldnt be much savings to be made on sim free phones atm

    Maybe just keep your eyes open as most new phones over there are using LTE and so are duel core not quad like what we have over here
