Learning to swim

    Hi all.
Looking for some advice here. Im 45 years of age. I allways wanted to learn to swim. Like every thing else when i was young i had other things in my head. That is when i should have started my swimming. Now for the last few years my work have stopped me from doing swimming courses. I work different hours.

What i want to know is, at 45 would it be difficult to learn now.
How long would it take me. I am determined to start this year.
Is there any private instructors around the Limerick or Cork area.

I think it is so important now to be able to swim.
    Thanks again
