Faulty Meter Problem HELP NEEDED URGENTLY

Just bought 5 cards and none have gone into the meter just saying card error. I have always had the odd time when the card did not register but not 5 in a row.

Could somebody let me know who to contact as its now 5pm friday and have 30cent left emergency credit.. I am really worried that I will have no ESB for my family over the weekend... :(

    Hi BaybeBear,

I recommend you contact customer service on 1850 372 372 - they are open 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday. I would need further details to investigate this via boards, and we are only on til 6pm this evening. For this reason I recommend you get in touch by phone.

If there's anything else we can help with just let us know.

    Thanks,

    David.

Well my problem is sorted. I called the fault line who asked me to go back to the shop and ask them to open a new batch of which they did. Although soaked from that rain. I now have Electric. Yay...!!! I am however worried that this may happen again.

I wonder if it is possible to get the machine serviced. If so Who? do I contact?

Glad to hear it's working now.

If the cards worked when you bought a new batch, the token meter shouldn't require a servicing, as it would be the cards which were faulty. If you have reason to suppose that there is a fault with the meter itself, I would suggest getting in touch with us with your account details. You can do this via boards if you can provide the following info:
    • Your full name and confirmation that you are the account holder
    • Your account number, date of birth and contact number (for account security)
    All the best,

    David.
