Hi everyone, i have a question if someone could help me please. I went to the social welfare to tell tham that am goin on holidays and its for 4 weeks, the girl told me that the claim will be closed, and when i will come back from holidays to go there with the flight details, i.e ticket etc, but my question is this, for example if i had gone and told them that i was going for 20 days, i.e 3 weeks, would i have to bring the flight details again is is it only when they close your claim you have to bring the flight details when back from holidays, thank a million in advance

I dont think your claim should be closed.

If you intend going on holidays abroad, you should inform the Local Office two weeks in advance of your departure and complete form UP 30. All holiday payments will be made retrospectively when you return. If you go on holiday for longer than two weeks, you may be paid in respect of the first two weeks, but will not receive payment for any period abroad in excess of this.
