xbox live membership/paypal/membership wont receive redeem code!

    i recently signed up to pay for my xbox live membership through my paypal and when my account ran dry they canceled my account i think!!!it wont receive a redemm code now or anything,i missed a few pay ments how do i sort this out without canceling my account and setting up a new account and losing all my saved game progress,i really dont want to get rid of it if i dont need to!:confused::confused::confused::confused:
