    Hi

I bought a Apollo transition fold-up bike nearly 3 months ago. Recently I have had 2 punctures ( within a week of each other ).

Guys in work have recommended I get kevlar tyres for the bike.

Can anybody recommend kevlar tyres for 20" x 1.75 wheels ?

I am googling on some Irish & UK websites but any suggestions would be welcome.

    Thanks in advance!!

Make sure you pump them up to a high PSI, I have gator skins and got 2 pinch flats in a week then I put them up to 110 and there was no hassles.

    Thanks. Will check them out.

The first puncture was a rivet which went in at the top of the rear tyre and then exited at the side ( whilst out a 1" gash in the side of the tyre ).

The second ( yesterday evening ) was a result of some glass, slow puncture, the tyre was ok yesterday evening but flat as a pancake this morning.

How good with these be? A lot of people has recommended them but are they that good ?

    Thanks again!

Thank - I think I will order these.

Now final question which may sounds silly...but sure I'll ask anyhow.

    Are these tubeless tyres ?

Marathon supreme is a bit more expensive but much lighter. Been using them on my hybrid on all sorts of surfaces for about 18 months and no punctures. Also slicker than the plus, and roll better on tarmac as a result.

No though there may be a tubeless option out there
