Olympics Bets

Thought I would start a thread where people who like a flutter can discuss odds etc.

Have two bets on so far, Blake for the 100m at 4/1 and Ukhov at 4/1 in the HJ( he is still 4/1 after yesterdays performance at the Russian nationals)

2 so far;

Wallace Spearmon each way at 11/2 without Blake and Bolt in the 200m
Pishchalnikova at 12/1 in the womens discus.

Top recommendation;

USA womens 4 x 400m at 5/4, they'll win this in their sleep when Felix murders them on the 2nd leg as she always does.

mmm not a bad bet but have been burned on relay bets in the past , :eek: , If i put money on they are sure to mess up.

What about Jeter for the 100m at 9/4?
If you like backing odds on then Pearson is as close to certainty as you can get over hurdles. She's 4/11. Not great odds admittedly.

The Russians rarely replicate their performances from the Nationals when it comes to the major championships. The US should win this with a bit to spare from the Russians.
