I won an auction and was promised next day delivery, to be posted the day after I paid, tuesday, I had paid about 9am monday, the tickets never came, the next day, nor the next.

I am trying to open a dispute on ebay but it will not allow it saying I must wait as they still could be on the way. The person was possibly doing a scam as they were printed E tickets, and they refused to send them on for me to print, saying they couldn't.

I wanted to get the complaint/dispute opened before they arrive, sort of "getting my foot in the door". Or does this matter? i.e. they could come today and so the seller will have recorded delivery that I received them, in what appears to be a reasonable time. In which case do I have any comeback? I would think there is something special T&Cs about tickets. is there anything I should be doing, e.g. contacting ebay/paypal in some other way.

I had been communicating a fair bit with the seller, so have several emails via ebay confirming they were supposedly sent, and guaranteeing delivery on time.

2nd thread in a few days regarding event tickets . - The event must be over now as you don't seem to want the tickets .

Always seem to be problems with tickets anyway .

I would ring PP direct , as e-tickets all too open to scammers , and you might find out that this is not the sellers first attempt.

Paypal need to clamp down on this type of stuff

I got news they arrived today, I have not checked when they were sent yet, even is over as you guessed. It was by airsure which is royal mail and supposedly fast, but had no guarantee of delivery date, so the seller has no insurance.

Normal tickets can also be scammed. If a scammer buys tickets they can say they are stolen and sometimes get replacements or have to go to the box office.

The seller seemed to have legit previous sales.
