Hi, so i got my course today im very happy :)

but was wondering about the registration fee, i got accepted as a mature student and i should be eligible for BTEA.

Are mature students exempt from a reg fee? its my first third level course ive done 2 fectac level 5 courses and one fetac level 3

or is there something that could help me pay the reg fee?

    what do i do?

You still have to pay the fee. You can try apply to www.susi.ie for a grant. If you are on BTEA you won't get maintenance but you might get the reg fee paid.

That would be exactly what i would be looking for as i would qualify for the btea and was worried about the reg fee, tuition is free if its your first third level as my understanding. thanks :)

Yeah, your tuition will be free if its your first time attending. Apply now for susi though as they will want plenty of documentation and it might take some time to gather it all.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
