This is an A.A.I. accredited and officially measured 10k race in a lovely part of the country. Nice course and a good one for a PB!
The race is for a local charity, and there promises to be a great atmosphere with lots of homemade refreshments at the finish.:)
We are hoping to have pacers and I will let you know as soon as they are confirmed.
It will be up on Run Ireland tomorrow, but please feel free to ask any questions on here also.

I was hoping this would be on in September for a crack at that sub 45 monkey that's on my back.

@tang1 Co Clare between Sixmilebridge and Newmarket-on-Fergus

Count me in. Sounds great. I would love to go sub 50, pacers are probably the only thing that will drag me under that 50 mins:)

Living in the general area, so this one is a must. Any idea of the route, pacers would be the business

Hi, apologies for the delay.......here is the link for the route map.

Also our local club, B.M.O.H. Athletic Club have agreed to supply the pacers for the event.
(B.M.O.H. stands for Bridge Milers Olympic Harriers... the name of the two former clubs in the village who have come together to form one great club!):)

Registration is open on Run Ireland or see www.kilmurry.com for more information.

Looking forward to this, won't be a PB by a long stretch for me as have not been running since SMB 10k, but will be nice to get back.

Gonna be warm, lots of water guys.

Hi all, anyone coming this evening to Kilmurry to run....it's a beautiful day here with a lovely cooling breeze!
Still though, make sure you have plenty on water on board and are well hydrated before running!
Looking forward to seeing you there :)

Well done to all, really nice event. Weather was steaming hot and sunny and the crowd was great. Love the country route and was grateful for the water stops. Great to see so many Bridge Miler / OH runners out supporting their neighbours!

Thanks to all for organising a brilliant event and looking forward to the rest of the events in Kilmurry this week

    +1
Great Event. Good buzz around the place before and after. Numbers seemed a bit low but the weather was very warm. Route was tough enough by no means flat but no great lung buster either.
    Congrats on well run event.
