    Am I being a total dope here? What does the AN stand for here?

    Thinking about buying this guitar;

    http://www.thomann.de/ie/gibson_hummingbird_an.htm

    Is this a totally different guitar to your standard hummingbird?

    Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

    Antique Natural, surely?

    The letters are always a reference to the finish.

    No harm in asking. Sometimes it´s hard to tell the difference between all the different models.
