hi just wondering if any one could help me out on this i have been offered a place in trinity to study nursing, can any one tell me if its possible to hold down a part time job with the nursing time table, weekends and thursday and friday evening say from 5 o clock. the only way i could financially survive through college would be keeping up this job:eek:

It's doable but you'd probably run in to trouble during placement. JF Nurses have placement in January for a couple of weeks. Other than that, if you need to, you should be able to keep the job

thanks for that:), my job would be pretty strict on missing days and being late, but i would have to keep it on, are the placements only in january??

Can't remember! I'm in a different health science. As far as I know they're just in January but I could be wrong. You'd also have to factor in travel time. Nurses have some classes in St. James' on Thursday or Friday (Can't remember which) so if they're on til 4 or 5 you could have trouble getting to work.
