I'm trying to convert swf to avi or flv or anything that works in vlc player, without having to use the kind of screengrab programs that force you to sit through the (hour long!) swf files while they're recorded. The closest I've come to achieving this goal is with FormatFactory which will convert the file pretty quickly…

I'm trying to convert swf to avi or flv or anything that works in vlc player, without having to use the kind of screengrab programs that force you to sit through the (hour long!) swf files while they're recorded. The closest I've come to achieving this goal is with FormatFactory which will convert the file pretty quickly but only a grey screen shows up Keeping in mind that FormatFactory wouldn't work until I installed K-Lite codecs pack I'm hoping it's just a codec issue or some other trivial reason why FormatFactory isn't capturing the video, only getting the sound. Any ideas? The end goal here is to be able to play these videos at x2 or even x3 speed.
